It takes in all of the magical schools you'd expect for the character archetype - fire, ice and lightning - yet there are less traditional avenues to explore too. It's somewhat vulnerable, yet its damage output is vicious. It's admirable to want to be your best but less admirable to just want to one-up your buddy.Diablo 3's Wizard is about as satisfying a glass-cannon character as you could hope for in an RPG. Try to be less competitive - it's a cooperative game and all the one-upmanship can really bring the fun down as the game devolves into something more like a race than a cooperative venture. I was becoming a bit competitve because my friend also plays it with me so I just wanted to get an upper handĭuring the leveling process this will pretty much always be determined by RNG in terms of who gets the better legendary drops. Keep an eye on your passive skills as they continue to unlock and be flexible enough to switch your skills around as you randomly pickup legendary items that buff specific skills. Some sort of crowd control or pet skill would probably be a good choice for your last spot: Hydra, Familiar, Ice Nova, etc. There are runes for Magic Weapon and Storm Shield that will help with mana resources and have long passive timers, so those are good choices and you can keep them up without any hassle. Choose one or the other as your main damager, probably.Īrchon is a good compliment for burst damage and tankiness on a long timer. Disintegrate, meanwhile, always pierces and by the time you get the Convergence rune is a pretty large amount of damage.
